Baqua is an internal arts form of moving meditation and martial art. This moving form works with circles and circling, twisting and untwisting. The movements are designed to open the heart or middle dantien and to quiet the mind. These movements were also based on the Chinese system of change or the I-Ching. The movements help the mind to understand the continual change of the universe and to learn how to follow this flow and change without resisting.
As one goes deeper, one can see the moving life force, qi, moving in circles and spirals. Life never moves in a straight line. At first in all seems like a maze, never really knowing where you are going and yet if you surrender to the heart it will take you to the right place. This helps the mind let go of control and begin to trust.
